Three Graces Figurine

This is a great figurine of the three graces made by Ludwigsburg around 1765. Known in Greek mythology as the Charities they were goddesses of such things as charm, beauty, and creativity. In Roman mythology they were known as the Gratiae. The figurine is unmarked which is not uncommon but was certainly made by them and is in the books as well. It is 9 inches tall, 4 inches wide and 2.5 inches deep. They are in great condition with the two arms/hands that are in the air having been worked on. The flowers they are holding in those hands have been worked on as well. hard to tell what exactly was wrong since the restoration in very good. The small flower garlands that are on their side/back used to go through these hands I believe so the connecting pieces are gone. The figurine displays superbly and is very elegant. The colorful base only adds to the piece! Please email me for more information or photos.
