Marseille Floral Cup & Saucer

This is a cup and saucer made in France in the late 18th century by Marseilles which was founded by Joseph-Gaspard Robert as a faience factory. It is handpainted with a nice larger floral arrangement as well as lots of smaller flowers and a gold trim. The cup is marked underneath with a blue L mark but the guy I bought it from also had another set with the JR mark more typical of this maker. The saucer is unmarked. The set is in good condition with a little wear to the gold trim and some firing flaws on the underside of the cup. Also a chip to the bottom cup rim but it was painted over with a leaf and is thus from the making! The cup measures 2.5 inches tall and the same in diameter and the saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 4.75 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
