1740s Puce Floral Teapot Lid

This is a early teapot lid made by Meissen in about 1740 or just a touch earlier. It is hand painted with two puce flowers, has a puce pinecone finial and a brown trim to the edge. Vent hole near the finial as shown. It is a very nice looking piece that is in perfect condition. The lid has a diameter of 1.875 inches and is about 0.875 inches tall not including the foot ring underneath. The ring that fits inside the opening of the pot has an outer diameter of 1.5 inches or just a tiny bit more. Unmarked but that is normal. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $499
