Circa 1750 Lid

This is an early lid made by Meissen in about 1750. It is nicely handpainted with some flowers all around and would have had a knob on top which is now gone and only a thin puce band is left around the spot. Otherwise the lid is perfect except for one spot of paint having flaked off. The lid is 1.125 inches tall and has a diameter of 2.875 inches. The diameter of the inside lip is 2.25 inches. It's not often one just find a lid so this might be the rare chance to give your coffee pot its missing one :) Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $49
