Boy Figurine

This is a figurine of boy holding a grape vine made by Meissen in about 1750. He is wearing a black hat with a red flower and bow on it, a light puce shirt with darker puce flowers on it, a tan jacket and blue pants. Lots of nice detail as one would expect from a Meissen figurine like the small gold buttons on the shirt. The figurine is in great condition for the age with some expected chips here and there. The hat has a larger chip to the back edge and two smaller ones in the front. One end of the bow is missing. There are a few spots here and there where the paint didn't take with the glaze but that is normal on the early pieces and none are bad. Two chips to leaves on the vine but they are hard to spot, a chip to the edge of the jacket, two chips to ends of the pink strings hanging off his jacket to tie it shut and that is it. The descriptions sounds much worse than it looks so have a peak at the pictures. The bottom of the base is flat and filled with only the air hole in it. There are some remnants of the blue crossed swords underneath but they are almost totally gone now. The figure is 4.875 inches tall, 2 inches wide and 1.75 inches deep.
