1750 Single Floral Saucer

This is a nice saucer made by Meissen in the mid 18th century. The piece has a basket weave design in relief to the paste along the rim, a gold trim to the edge and is hand painted with a large floral arrangement towards the right side of the center with three smaller flowers and three tiny ones scattered throughout. The saucer is in great condition with a few black firing spots ground away when it was made and these unglazed spots have stained a bit over time. Can be cleaned but it displays well as is and it's all part of the charm of the early stuff for me at least. The saucer is about 1 inch tall and 5.5 inches in diameter and is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark as shown as well as an impressed number. Please email me for more information.

Price is $129
