Mid 18thC Gentleman Figurine

This is a nice early figurine made by Meissen in about 1750. It is a figure of a gentleman holding a bunch of flowers in his left hand and has a basket in front of him. He is nicely dressed with a black hat, a fancy yellow and purple jacket with blue bows and light purple pants. Standing on a typical base with gilded scrolls to the front plus some flowers and leaves to the top and a column in the back. A nice example from the mid 18th century. Lots of nice detail as one would expect from a Meissen figurine. The figurine is in good condition for the age with some expected small issues. The back of the hat has a tiny chip to it, both bottom corners and the bottom of one of the fold of the jacket have been restored, a flat chip to the corner of the top of the column and his right hand was off and has been reattached. That could have been done better. Too much over paint there. The fingers are all OK so it's an easy fix. The bottom of the base is flat and filled with only the air hole in it. There are some remnants of the blue crossed swords underneath but they are fairly hard to see. The figure is 5.25 inches tall, 2.25 inches wide and 2.625 inches deep.
