Frame w/ Cherubs & Clock

This is a really nice frame made by Meissen in the mid to late 19th century. This is the version where they added a clock to it though that is no longer working. I have no had it looked at if it is fixable so I am selling the frame and the clock just comes with it. You can always remove the clock if you wanted and then use it as a picture frame or something along those lines. f. This is also the nice version with the attached forget me not flowers applied to the main frame part which is less common. The are all along the sides coming from the pink bow at the bottom and going to the feet of the cherubs at the top. The oval frame part is nicely modeled and hand painted with little oval colorful spots to it with tiny forgetmenots in between them, a pink and turquoise pointy trim to the edge facing the inside and lots of gold trim. There are two cherubs sitting on top of the frame that are holding a floral garlands between them. One has a pink cloth draped over it and the other a yellow one. It's a really nice piece and in better condition than most one comes across. It displays nicely but a few of the flowers / leaves that have chips to them and the yellow cherub has lost one of its wings. A small chip to the pink bow as well and the back elbow of the pink cherub has some issue to it - looks like it was stuck on something during the firing process. Since the wings and elbow issue is in the back and the flowers are so busy it's hard to spot the small damages they piece really looks nice on display! The clock back plate part has an area to the left that is worn down to the brass as shown. It comes with an easel type stand in the back so it can stand on a table. The entire piece is about 9.5 inches tall, 6.875 inches wide and 3.125 inches deep including the clock part that sticks out quite a bit in the back. Very heavy because of the clock. The clock is swiss made so not a cheap piece and should be fixable though I have no idea. The visible opening of the porcelain frame is about 5.375 inches tall and 4.625 inches wide but there is about a quarter inch of extra room all around in the back for whatever you want to show off. The piece is marked to the top between the cherubs with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark (first choice) as shown. The frame has four screw holes to attach the clock with four golden tipped screws. One of them is missing its nut so it falls out. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
