Miniature Male Turkey Figurine

This is a miniature male turkey (aka Tom ) made by Meissen in the 19th century. Nicely modeled and hand painted as one would expect from the top maker! This older version is quite hard to find and it matches the lady turkey I have from this period perfectly! He is standing on a little base painted with some green to simulate grass. The figurine is in perfect condition which is always nice. It is marked underneath with the blue crossed swords mark as well as the usual impressed / incised marks as well as a painters mark in form of a red 43 as shown. The bird is 2.5 inches tall, 2 inches wide and 1.75 inches long. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
