Blue Onion Perfume Bottle w/ Handles

This is a really nice perfume bottle with its original lid made by Meissen in the 19th century. It is dcorated with their famous Blue Onion design in under glaze dark blue and has a nice handle to each side. The lid still has its original cork inside but that is partially missing. Still nice to have the original lid with at least most of the cork as that is often not the case. The piece is in superb condition otherwise. No issues with the porcelain and a nice early example before they put the crossed swords into the stalk part of the 'onion'. The perfume bottle with the lid in place is about is 3.125 inches tall and 1.875 inches in diameter. The handles stick out a tiny bit from that. It is arked underneath with the under glaze crossed swords mark on both the main body as well as a blue 11 (i think) and the usual incised marks one find on Meissen of this period as shown. First quality off course. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $199
