A-Kante Creamer

This is a porcelain creamer / cream jug / small pitcher made by Meissen during the Pfeiffer period of the late 1920s or early 1930s. It is from their A-Kante design and is hand painted with a large polychrome floral arrangement to one side with a small arrangement and a single flower to the other side. Nice handle with a bit of gold trim and the cobalt blue and gold trim to the rim that gives this service its name. A nice looking piece that is in perfect condition. It is 3.5 inches tall including the handle, 3.75 inches from handle to spout tip and 2.75 inches wide. The creamer is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark (first choice) with the dot between the tops as well as the usual impressed numbers, etc. as shown. I also have the matching sugar dish up on the site if anyone is interested in both. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $249
