Set of 8 A-Kante Floral Plates

This is a set of eight plates made by Meissen in the 20th century. They are from the so called A-Kante series which refers to the nice cobalt blue ring with gold trim around the rims. Each piece is hand painted with a nice polychrome floral arrangement to one side as well as a smaller flower arrangement and a single flower. Single gold thing ring around the well of the plate. The edges of the plates have a nice shape to them to give them a very elegant look. The plates are in perfect condition. Each is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark underneath (first quality) as well as the usual impressed, etc. marks as shown. Each plate is about 1 inch tall and 7 inches in diameter. Not sure if these are considered dessert plates or side plates. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $799
