Amazing Scenic Plaque

This is a really superb plaque made by Meissen in the mid 19th century. It is hand painted with a superb detailed scene of a semi nude lady over a baby with a gentleman in the background. An amazingly well painted piece with a nice sky blue ground color trim with raised and tooled gilding over it. The plaque is nicely framed and looks superb on the wall. This scene is stunning both in detail and color! The plaque is in perfect condition. The piece including the frame is 10.25 inches wide and 8.375 inches tall so a nice size! The visible porcelain piece itself is 5.875 inches by 4.75. The plaque is not marked as far as I can tell which is not unheard of on these unglazed pieces but the quality speaks for itself as does that neat blue and gold trim which I ahve had on a marked example by them before with a city of Meissen scene to it. It does have a name and date written on the back likely a previous owner. The back is covered in glass so it's hard to look more close. No question though on who made it looking at the quality! Truly a superb and elegant piece! The plaque is in perfect condition and the frame is nice as well with some use marks and black paint scratched off. Looks perfect on the wall though!
