Angel Figural Open Salt Dish

This is an nice early figural open salt dish made by Meissen in about 1760. It has a nicely shaped dish as the top with a bit of gold trim to the edge and some small hand painted flowers all around including the nside bottom, an angel figurine as the center with two large wings and outstretched arms holding a nice flower garland while sitting on the base with some gold trim to it and applied flowers. Really a superb piece! The piece is in superb condition with a few small chips to the flowers of the base and the garland and one on the toe of his right foot. The piece is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords with the dot as well as the typical incised number as shown. The entire figure with the dish is 4.125 inches tall with a base diameter of 2.375 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
