Chamberstick w/ Applied Flowers

This is a fun chamberstick made by Meissen during the 19th century. The candleholder has a nice shape to it and is decorated with lots of hand painted 3D flowers that have been applied on the outside of the main body which some people called encrusted with flowers. It has a loop on one end with a nicely shaped thumb rest above it so one can safely move about when the candle is lit. Nice gold ring trims to the edges and a bit of pink to the thumb rest make this a very elegant piece! I ahve not seen this shape with the applied flower before so it was a must have for me. The stick is in superb condition with just one leaf being chipped and maybe some very very minor edhe nibbles but it displays perfectly! The chamberstick is marked with the blue crossed swords mark underneath as shown. The piece is 2.625 inches tall at the handle tip and has a diameter of 2.75 inches with the handle sticking out 1.375 inches. The center hole for the candle has a top diameter of jsut under 1 inch. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
