Small Applied Flowers Cup & Saucer

This is a really nice small cup and saucer made by Meissen in the 19th century. Both are decorated with lots of applied 3D flowers and their leaves on the outside of the cup and bottom of the saucer. Both the cup and saucer sit on six feet and are hand painted with flowers on the inside of the cup and top of the saucer plus a gold trim to the rims. The cup and saucer are in superb condition with just a little damage to one flower on the saucer which is much better than one usually finds these as they often have lots of chips. A very nice set to display! Both are marked with the underglaze blue crossed swords mark underneath as well as the usual impressed number. The cup is 1.625 inches tall and 2.25 inches in diameter. The saucer is 0.875 inches tall and 4.125 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $599
