Augustus Rex Cup & Saucer

This is a cup and saucer made by Meissen in the 20th century during the Pfeiffer period after an 18th century original. The set is decorated with the August Rex initials AR under the crown in relief on both sides of the cup, lots of handpainted Kakiemon style flowers all around and a very nice gold trim. The set is in perfect condition and is marked underneath with the underglazed blue crossed swords mark with the dot in between the top parts as well as some impressed, incised and overglaze numbers. The cup is 2.25 inches tall and 3.25 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1 inch tall and 5.375 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
