Art Nouveau Fish Scene Plate

This is a superb dinner plate made by Meissen in the late 19th century or early 20th century. A very unusual design in the Art Nouveau taste of the period with two hand painted fish on the rim with some gold seaweed as well as two sea shells surrounded by gold seaweed and a nice gold trim along the edge. I have not seen this type of design before but it is superb! The plate is in perfect condition with some very minor wear to the gilding. The plate is marked with the underglaze blue crossed swords mark underneath as well as the usual impressed numbers of this period. It is 0.875 inches tall and 10.625 inches in diameter.
