Art Nouveau Girl with Goat Figurine

This is a very nice figurine of a young lady holding some flowers over her head to keep them away from the goat next to her. The figurine was made by Meissen in the early 20th century during the Art Nouveau period when she was originally designed by Erich Hoesel in 1907 and is called Girl with Goat. This version with the green outfit seems to be the rarest as I could not find it again while I did find a few in the other colors they made. The figurine is nicely modeled and hand painted to perfection. It even has the Jugendstil flowers along the edge of the base. Doesn't get much better than this! The figure is marked with the underglaze blue crossed swords mark of the period as well as an incised model number V114 and the usual impressed and painter's numbers. The figurine displays perfectly but there has been some expert restoration done to the ears and horns of the goat as well as a few flowers. Perfectly done so it does not detract from the piece at all! She is 7 inches tall with a base diameter of 3.5 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
