Bear Drinking Bottle Figurine

This is a cute figurine of a bear drking milk from a bottle made by Meissen in the 20th century. Originally modeled in the mid 20th century by the famous Erich Oehme it was left intentionally most white to show off the pose and superb modeling with lots of detail. The bear is sitting on a simple round base with some molded detail to it with his front paws holding up the bottle. Sparingly painted with a bit of color in the face, ears and paws. A very elegant and fun piece to look at! The figure is in perfect condition. It is marked underneath with the under glazed blue crossed swords mark , a red 2814 as well as the usual impressed numbers, etc. of the period as shown. The piece is 5 inches tall with the base having a diameter of 2.375 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
