Rare Tumbler Cup #1

This is a rare drinking cup or tumbler made by Meissen around the late 1920s. I have not come across this style and size before and if you jsut saw a picture you might confuse it with one of those little shot glasses they made but it is much larger. Perfect for drinking your next glass of wine in style - the closest you will get to a wine glass from Meissen :) The piece is hand painted with a nice bunch of green grapes with its leaves on the front and a nice little bunch of strawberries with its leaves ahnd a blossom on the back. Gold trim to the top and bottom. The pieceis in perfect condition with just a touch of wear to the gilding along the top. It is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark (first choice) underneath as well as a painter's mark and the usual impressed marks as shown. The cup is 4 inch tall and just under 3 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
