Leuteritz B-Form Floral Cobalt Blue & Gold Creamer

This is a rare creamer designed by Leuteritz for Meissen in the 1850's and from around the original period of the mid to later 19th century. This design is called B-Form and is quite popular especially in this most expensive version of the full gilding with cobalt and the hand painted scattered flowers. There is some raised design to the paste as well which is partially gilded with shiny gold and partially with a more matte version. A very elegant cream jug and quite hard to find from this period. The creamer is in superb condition with just a spot of two of wear. As nice as they come! The piece is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark underneath as well as the usual impressed numbers and letters and a blue painter's number in under glaze blue. First quality off course! The creamer is 4.75 inches tall at the handle and 3.125 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $749
