Bird of Paradise Plate

This is a small plate made by Meissen in the mid 20th century. It is handpainted with a superb bird of paradise in the center with kakiemon type flowers all around and a superb pink and red rim design finished by a gold trim to the edge. The piece is in perfect condition. It is marked underneath with the first quality underglaze blue crossed swords as well as the usual impressed, painted and incised marks. Also a blue line near the rim. The plate measures 1 inch tall and 7.125 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
