Strawberry Scene Bruehlsches Allerlei Plate

This is a really superb reticulated floral plate made by Meissen in the mid 19th century . It is decorated with a Bruerhlsches Allerlei type rim design and has a hand painted floral arrangement as well as has a nice strawberry arrangement in the center with the rim having four different reticulated sections with floral design to them and instead of the painer reticulated sections of the normal Burhelsches Allerlei design here we have four bird scene cartouches. Each scene has two birds sitting on a branch with a gold trim around the scene. It's a stunning looking plate that is quite unusual in the design! The plate is in great condition with a touch of wear to the gilding as shown and a knock to the foot ring that never came off. It displays superbly! It is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark underneath as well as the usual impressed numbers of the period as shown. Painter's number as shown. The piece is 1.625 inches tall and 9.625 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $1099
