Bird Scene Vase on 4 Feet #1

This is a really nice bird scene vase made by Meissen in the 19th century. It is hand painted with a superb bird scene to the front as well as the back with a bird sitting on a tree branch with its leaves in both scenes. The vase has a really nice shape to it with the main body sitting on four feet that sit on a round base. The top edge has a nice shape to it as well. Some well placed gold trim make this a very elegant piece! A really a stunning vase with two scenes that are superb! The piece is marked to the bottom with the under glaze blue crossed swords with the pronounced hilts mark in blue as well as an impressed number as shown. The vase is 5.5 inches tall and 2.875 inches in diameter. It is in great condition with a tiny gilded over chip to the top edge and some minor wear to the gilding.
