Blue Onion Scent Bottle

This is a really nice porcelain perfume / scent bottle with its original lid made by Meissen in the 19th century. The piece has a nice shape to it and is decorated with their famous blue onion design with some gold trim. The lid is especially nie with the rose finial including a flower with its stem and two leaves with gold highlights. The perfume bottle is 4.125 inches tall and 1.75 inches in diameter. It is in superb condition with just a possible nibble to one petal of the flower finial. I looked under a magnifying glass and even then could not tell. So it displays perfectly for sure! The lid inserting part has lost it cork part which is partially stuck inside the neck opening so the lid fits perfectly. One could apply a new cork piece but I don't think that's necessary. No crossed swords mark in the onion stalk yet so a nice early piece. Probably mid 19th century by the look of it. The underside is marked underneath with the blue crossed swords mark as well as a blue painter's number and an impresed mark though all are hard to make out. First choice as there is not cut mark. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
