Blue Onion Strainer Funnel

This is a bit of something different than the usual Meissen one sees. It is actually something meant to be used in the kitchen. A strainer/funnel handpainted with the blue onion pattern all around the top part. It dates to the 20th century and is in superb condition. Marked with the underglaze blue crossed swords under the rim in the center with two slashes through it. There are two spots on the handle where the glaze didn't take perfectly and thus the second quality mark. Also impressed numbers next to the mark. The funnel is 6.5 inches tall and has a top outer diameter of 3.625 inches. The center ring is about 3.5 inches in diameter and the pierced part is 3.5 inches tall. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $229
