Blue Onion Pepper Mill #3

This is a pepper mill made by Meissen in the late 19th or early 20th century. It is decorated with the famous Blue Onion design in under glaze blue. The design on this piece is nice and dark! The mill is in great condition. The insides (metal parts) are rusty and need a good cleaning and the top is made of brass which is a nice touch. If that is cleaned a bit it would be nice and bright and look great with the porcelain! The piece works nicely and can be easily turned. The porcelain is in great condition! The pepper mill is just under 4 inches tall and 2.25 inches in diameter. Quite heavy due to the metal insides. Marked underneath with the under glaze crossed swords mark - first choice and in the stalk of the "onion" as well as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $399
