Blue & White Platter

This is a porcelain serving platter made by Meissen likely in the 18th century but I am having a bit of a tough time dating it perfectly. It is handpainted with an underglaze blue floral decoration similar to the strawflower or blue onion patterns. Quite nice and the size is rare. This platter is in good condition with a chip to the back rim one barely sees from the front if at all. A few flaws in the porcelain indicative of an early piece. The bottom is unglazed and has the blue crossed swords as well as an impressed 12 and 2. The plate is 1.375 inches tall and 15.75 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $499
