Pair of Strewn Flowers Candlesticks

This is a nice pair of candlesticks made by Meissen in the 19th century. They are decorated with their famous strewn / scattered flowers design which is a commonly found decoration btu I ahve not seen a pair of nice candleholders in this design! They have a nice shape to them with a wide base so they are very stable. The hand painted single flowers all around in combination with the shape and gold trim make this a very elegant looking set! Each stick is about 7.25 inches tall with a bottom diameter of 4.75 inches. The top where the candle goes into has an inner diameter of 0.875 inches and is a good 1.25 inches deep. They are in perfect condition with the tiniest of gold wear but they display perfectly! Each candlestick is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark and the usual incised / impressed marks as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $599
