Cobalt Blue Dollhouse Vase

This is a cute little piece - a true miniature lidded vase for a doll house or perfume bottle made by Meissen in the late 19th century. The main body is hand painted with a superb floral arrangement on white ground on one sides surrounded by a nice gold trim witht he rest of the vase as well as the lid having a cobalt blue ground color and some fancy gilding to it. The dark blue and gold combination is one of the best there is I think! Really a stunning little piece! The stopper par as well as the inside have residue of some brown sticky stuff that smells nice so likely old perfume oil. It helps the lid stay in place which is nice. The piece is in perfect condition. The vase and lid are 1.5 inches tall and 1 inch in diameter and marked underneath with the under glaze crossed swords mark as shown as well as some sort of incised marks as shown that I cannot make out but are common on pieces from this period! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $599
