Cobalt Blue Floral Cup & Simple Saucer

This is a cute little cup and saucer set / demitasse / mocha or espresso coffee cup & saucer made by Meissen during the earlier 20th century. The cup has that superb cobalt blue ground color with a white panel to the front on which a polychrome floral arrangement was painted. It is surrounded by some fancy gilding. Gold trim to the edge and the white classicism syle handle. The saucer is simple in design with the entire piece having a cobalt blue ground color to it with just a simple gold line to the edge but it works well with the fancier cup. The cobalt blue and gold combo always looks stunning! The set is in perfect condition. Both are marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark as well as the usual impressed numbers and a black painter's number under the cup as shown. The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 2.125 inches. The saucer is 0.875 inches tall and 4.25 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
