Cobalt Blue & Floral Slop Bowl

This is a hard to find slop or waste bowl made by Meissen in the later 19th century. The piece is hand painted with two panels of superb floral arrangements on white ground surrounded by some fancy gold trim with the rest of the bowl having a deep cobalt blue ground color and some more fancy gold trim all over. Even the inside edge and bottom inside have some more gold trim to them. The blue and gold combination looks stunning! The bowl is in great condition with just a bit of wear to the design on the bottom inside. It is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark underneath as well as the usual impressed numbers as shown - first choice off course. The bowl is 2.625 inches tall and 6.1.25 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
