Colorful Onion Design Creamer

This is an interesting milk jug / creamer made by Meissen in the 20th century. I have not seen this design before but it is similar to the famous blue onion design except in polychrome which looks stunning! It even has the crossed swords mark in the rock formation at the bottom - same idea as in the stalk of the onion and not something you see normally in their designs. I guess they gave it a modern update :) The creamer has a nice shape to it with a bit of gold trim and a thin puce trim to the inside top. The creamer is in perfect condition! It is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark underneath as well as the usual marks one finds on Meissen of this period as shown. The piece is 4.625 inches tall, 4.75 from handle to spout and about 3.25 inches wide. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $249
