Couple Figurine

This is a figurine of a couple made by Meissen in the 19th century. Both are dressed in fancy clothes and hand painted superbly. The gentleman is golding a floral wreath over the lady's head and has a tricorn aht under his arm. The lady has one arm on the gentleman's back and the other is ready to hold his hand. Typical base with some nice gold scrolls to it. A very well modeled and painted piece! The figure is in great condition with damage to the floral wreath as shown and a small chip to the corner of his jacket though the placement makes it very ahrd to spot and the piece displays superbly! The piece is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords as well as the usual incised model number and a red N likely a painter's mark. A nice early piece! The figurine is 6 inches tall, 3.75 inches wide and 2.75 inches deep. Please email me for more information or photos.
