Cobalt Blue & Floral Cufflinks

This is a rare set of cufflinks made by Meissen in the early 20th century. Each has a round porcelain panel in the center thatis hand painted with a superb floral arrangement on a white ground with the surrounding being cobalt blue ground with a nice gold design over that. They are held in place by silver mounts as shown with that piece in the back that swivels to keep it in place when used as a cufflink. The porcelain is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark - first quality and the silver is marked 835 GS F on one and a triangle isntead of the F on the other set as shown. The set is in perfect condition - the silver could use a polishing but no other issues. Each frontsilver mounted porcelain piece has a diameter of about 0.875 inches and are about 1/16 of an inch thick. The sterling piece stick out about 0.75 inches when in use. A really fun set for the porcelain nut like myself!. You'll stick out with these at your next party! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
