Cute Bear Figurine

This is a figurine of a sitting brown bear made by Meissen in the 20th century. Originally modeled in the mid 20th century by the famous Erich Oehme it was left intentionally most white to show off the pose and superb modeling. Sparingly painted with a bit of brown in the face, ears and paws with the snout and mouth having the nicest coloration. Simple round base makes this one elegant and fun piece to look at! The figurine is in perfect condition. The figure is marked underneath with the under glazed blue crossed swords mark , a blue line, a red 23 as the painter's mark as well as the usual impressed numberc, of the period as shown. The piece is 4 inches tall with the base having a diameter of 3 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
