Scheurich Figurine of a Dandy

This is a hard to find figurine of a Dandy made by Meissen in the early 20th century in about 1920. First modeled by the famous Paul Scheurich during this period. His style is hard to miss :) The gentleman is superbly modeled and hand painted to perfection. He has parted hair, that is curly over his ears with sideburns and a mustache. Elegantly dressed with a book in his right hand while leaning on a column that has a little plaque of a cherub to the front, a rose to the base and some vines growing up the column. A really fun figure by one of the best designers of this period! The figurine is in perfect condition. It is 9.125 inches tall, 55.375 inches wide and 3 inches deep. The figure is marked with the under glaze crossed swords mark underneath the base as well as the usual impressed / incised numbers as well as a painter's mark of the period as shown.
