Deer Pipe Bowl

This is a porcelain pipe bowl made by Meissen in the 19th century. It is handpainted with a very detailed scene of two stags in a landscape background. One sees the transfer ones very often but this is the first handpainted one I have seen in this style. Also it is rare to find Meissen pipes and this one is marked on the inside with the crossed swords in underglaze blue. The pipe is in superb condition. The bowl is 3.875 inches long and has a top diameter just under 1.25 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $899
