Miniature Pheasant

This is a miniature figurine of a pheasant made by Meissen in the 19th century. The bird is very well modelled and painted with it sitting on a little base with grasses painted on. The pheasant is handpainted with lots of colors and really quite nice looking iwt its tail up in the air. Amazingly it is in perfect condition. The piece is marked with the blue swords underneath as well as the usual imrpessed numbers of the period. Also a painter's mark 40 in black. The bird is 2.5 inches tall including its tail, 1.625 inches deep and 0.875 inches wide. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $399
