Fennec Fox Figurine

This is a figure two Fennec Foxes made by Meissen in the early 20th century. The figure was first designed by Otto Pilz around 1907 and is of two fennecs hand painted in under glaze colors sitting on a rectangular base. Fennec foxes have to be the cutest animals in the porcelain world and this pair is just stunning. A superbly modeled and painted piece - it doesn't come any better than this. The figurine is in perfect condition and first quality which isn't that common on this model. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark as well as the model number H142 and an impressed number 136. The piece is 6.25 inches tall, 6.5 inches wide and 4.25 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
