Fish Scene Plate #6

This is another great plate made by Meissen in the late 19th century or early 20th century. It is hand painted with a detailed fish scene in the center with a slight water effect around it as well as a green grass or algae grass behind it. The rim has a nice shape to it and a basket weave design to the paste with gold trim to the edge as well as two bugs and red corral hand painted on it. The plate is in perfect condition (with one spot of stray gold on the back rim) and marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark underneath as well as the usual impressed numbers and a black painter's mark 3. It is 1.375 inches tall and 10.25 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $599
