Floral Horn of Penty Vase

This is a fun vase in the shape of a horn of plenty or cornucopia made by Meissen in the 19th century. It is hand painted with lots of flower arrangements as well as single flowers and even a few little bugs. Lots of nice gold trim to make this a very elegant vase. I ahve not seen this shape with this decoration before and it is stunning. Also smaller than the others I ahve owned over the years though it is not a shape you see often! The vase is in perfect condition! It is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords underneath as shown as well as the usual impressed numbers, etc. normal to this period. First choice. The vase is 4.125 inches tall and the base is 2.5 inches wide by 3.625 inches long. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
