Fox Stealing Chicken Figurine

This is a great figurine of a fox killing a rooster and carrying it away made by Meissen in the 20th century. The fox is superbly modeled with lots of nice detail but the chicken is just superb with all those feathers and the wings spread out during his last minutes on this earth. It's not looking good for the guy :( The entire figure is really well modeled and hand painted perfectly. All in all a very hard to find figure and a fun piece in a morbid sort of way. The figurine is in good condition and displays perfectly but his left ear has been reglued. Not obvious at all in real life but easily seen in the closeups I took to show it clearly. It was a clean break and reglued perfectly and if one wanted to it could be perfectly touched up for very little money by any restorer! The figurine is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark as well as the usual impressed numbers as shown. The piece is 1.5 inches tall, 1.875 inches wide and 3 inches long.
