Funky Rooster Figurine #2

This is a superb figurine of a colorful chicken / rooster made by Meissen in the mid 20th century. When I saw this piece I had to have it - so colorful and funny looking but I am sure there is a breed that looks like this out there in the real world! It's the hip funky rooster of the flock :) The figure is in perfect condition which is nice since most of the time the tail feathers or such are restored or chipped. The bird is 4.25 inches tall, 2 inches wide and 4.5 inches long. The piece is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark as well as the impressed number 498 with an + behind it, an impressed 111: and a painters mark 40 in black. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $699
