Scenic Perfume Flacon w/Silver Mounts

This is a superb perfume bottle made by Meissen in about 1740. It has a nice shape to it and is hand painted with two superb scenes including a nude lady and a putto / cherub in a landscape surrounding. The sides of the bottle are covered in a blue ground color with some gilding to it. It has its nicely shaped original silver stopper to it attached to the top mount with a tiny chain and a decorative silver mount to the base that has some nice designs to it as well. The bottle is in perfect condition with the silver mounts having blackened from oxidation over time which is normal and could easily be brought back to a silver shine if one wanted it but I prefer to leave them as is. Otherwise the stopper and mounts are in perfect order and just superb! The entire piece is is 3.875 inches tall, 1.5 inches wide and just over 0.75 inches deep. The piece is not visibly marked since the base mounts are covering up the porcelain on the underside. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $1749
