German Shepherd Figurine

This is a great figurine of a sitting German shepherd dog made by Meissen during the Pfeiffer peiod of the early 20th century. It is handpainted with the rare underglaze colors Meissen used in the early 20th century and looks stunning. First modeled by Paul Walter and his initials PW are incised on the top back corner of the base. The figurine is in perfect condition which is always nice! The figure is marked underneath with the underglazed blue crossed swords mark with the dot between the tops, the incised model number E.201 and an impressed 43 as shown. The piece is 7 inches tall, 3.625 inches wide and 6.75 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
