Superb Girl w/ Monkey Figurine

This is a really fun figurine of a young lady with a monkey sitting on her left shoulder made by Meissen in the mid 20th century. The piece is super cute and very well modeled with lots of detail The little monkey is even dressed with striped pants and a nice yellow hat and holding a flute in his hand. The girl is making sure he does not try to get away with a leash between her right hand and the little guy. She has a box on her back with air holes in it likely for transporting him when he is not sitting on her shoulder. Typical base with a little flower to it and some gold scrolls. The added bonus is that the figure is in perfect condition which is amazing considering all that fine detail. The piece is 3.75 inches tall, 1.625 inches wide and 1.625 inches deep. The figure is marked with the under glaze crossed swords mark underneath the base as well as the usual impressed numbers, etc. of the period as well as GERMANY in blue as shown.
