Grapevine Relief Saucer

This is a nice blanc de chine saucer made by Meissen around the mid 18th century. The top is just simply white but the underside is nicely decorated with the grape vine or trailing vine pattern in relief. Not one you see very often at all. The white pieces were more valued than the painted ones during this time since it showes off the porcelain they were so proud of. The piece is in great condition with two tiny black firing spots on the top side from when it was made. No chips, etc. It is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark as shown as well as an impressed number. The saucer is 5.5 inches in diameter and 1.25 inches tall. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $349
