Green Parrot Figurine

This is a nice parrot bird figurine made by Meissen in the 20th century. A more muted figure with the bird being mainly green tones with a little purple but very elegant nonetheless. The bird is sitting on a tree stump that is very well modeled with roots going over rocks and a branch coming out of either side. A flower and some greenery on the base that make this a very elegant and cheerful figurine. Quite lieflike really! The figurine is in good condition and displays superbly but two leaves are chipped off mostly and one is reglued. The piece is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark as the usual impressed numbers of the period as shown. The piece is 5.625 inches tall, 3.625 inches wide and 4 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
